Organization and territorial delegations
INAO has a nationwide presence, with 20 sites and 2 branches spread across 8 territorial delegations in mainland France.
The Ouest and Occitanie territorial delegations are also in charge of monitoring overseas products under the official sign of identification of quality and origin. Some 250 agents support producers. 70% of the institute's staff work in the regions, in close proximity to the professionals.
Project leaders (creation, revision of specifications under an official sign) thus benefit from a local service that also draws on the expertise of 4 industry clusters and all national services (controls, legal protection of denominations, delimitation of geographical areas, international cooperation.
Administrative services are located at the Institute's head office in Montreuil (93).
