Economic monitoring

INAO collects and analyzes economic data for products under official signs of quality and origin (SIQO). The aim is to understand the economic, social and environmental impacts of SIQO to better support their development.

Our missions

  • Pilot an annual statistical survey on SIQO
  • Analyze and decipher SIQO economic data
  • Animate a quality network and a territorial observatory of SIQO, with INRAe
  • Realize and participate in the elaboration of exhaustive and educational publications around SIQO: key figures, regional mementos, sector data...

DataSIQO

DataSIQO is the platform of economic benchmarks for agricultural, forestry or food products and seafood products benefiting from an official sign of identification of quality and origin on French territory. DataSIQO is the fruit of collaboration between the network of Chambers of Agriculture and INAO. This datavisualization tool enables you to obtain information on the place of products under signs of identification of quality and origin (SIQO) in the agricultural economy of territories.

DataSIQO has benefited from funding from the Casdar programs of Chambres d'agriculture France (PNDAR) and the Chambre régionale d'agriculture Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (PRDAR AURA), the Fond National de Modernisation, de Performances et de Péréquation (FNMPP) of the Chambers of Agriculture network, the Conseil Régional Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the INAO.
