European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH)
The 27th European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH) will take place from November 20 to 24, 2023. As part of this, INAO and FranceAgriMer are organizing several moments of exchange and sharing on disability and the work of people with disabilities.
Through its Mission Handicap, set up in 2008, INAO is deploying a policy to promote the integration and job retention of workers with disabilities, invalidity, long-term illness and/or affected by health difficulties requiring support and dedicated facilities to improve and adapt their working conditions. The institute presented this policy at the Salon de l'Agriculture 2023 and will be offering various events as part of SEEPH, in partnership with FranceAgriMer
DuoDay, a day of experience sharing
On Thursday November 23, 2023, INAO will be taking part in the DuoDay operation. The aim of this initiative is to host a person with a disability as part of a training course, in a duo with a volunteer professional who will introduce them to their profession. This immersion in a professional environment is a real opportunity to bring disabled people and employers together. It enables everyone to overcome their prejudices, to change their outlook on disability, but also to discover new talents, who will be able to diversify the skills recruited within our establishments and the Ministry in charge of Agriculture.
