Annie Genevard, France's Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, used a video message to support the launch of Quality and Origin Week and the communication campaign around SIQO (signs of origin and quality), led by INAO.

INAO has launched a major communications campaign to explain to young consumers in particular what SIQO (official quality and origin identification signs) are, and to guide them through the proliferation of labels. The campaign culminates in Quality and Origin Week, which runs from 1er to December 7.

Annie Genevard, Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, has sent a message to consumers and to all the professionals who proudly bear SIQO labels, thanking them for their commitment. The message emphasizes the vital role played by SIQOs in France's cultural and gastronomic heritage. In particular, she recalls the strong ambition of this French and European policy, which is to "maintain collective know-how rooted in history, ensure the continuity of traditional practices and preserve the authenticity of production".

The Minister reminded us: there are signs that do not deceive, we must trust these official signs of confidence.
