INAO raises awareness of SIQO issues among Drôme high school and university students
On Thursday March 27, 2025, the Lycée du Valentin organized a morning of SIQO discovery, in partnership with the Drôme department. Alongside the region's defense and management organizations (ODG), INAO took part to raise awareness of SIQO issues among these future professionals.

This educational highlight enabled secondary and higher education learners to explore these certification schemes, which promote local produce and producers' expertise, while guaranteeing consumers quality products made to exacting specifications and regularly inspected.
Participatory workshops led by experts enabled lively exchanges between speakers and participants, on a variety of themes:
- Presentation of SIQO - INAO
- Specifications - AOP Noix de Grenoble
- Controls in the quality system - Qualit'aide & IGP Ail de la Drôme
- Organoleptic control - AOP Picodon
- Why join a SIQO chain? - AOP Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage
- SIQO and catering - Département de la Drôme
- Traceability and marketing - IGP Saint-Marcellin & Imprimerie Ballouhey
- Organization of an animal chain (meat) - Label rouge Agneau de l'Adret
- Vegetable chain and quality control at every stage - IGP Petit Épeautre de Haute-Provence

This morning of information presented the diversity of professions, and provided information on the values shared by SIQO producers. A meal concocted by the high school's chef served to sublimate a selection of SIQO products to close the half-day event.
