SIQO in the spotlight at Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne 2025

As part of the 79th Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, INAO is organizing a day dedicated to official signs of identification of quality and origin (SIQO). A must-attend event to discover the various PDO, PGI, TSG, Organic Agriculture and Label Rouge products, which are the pride of the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France, the guest region.

The INAO, with the support of producers and professionals, will be offering numerous events for young and old alike:

  • Free discoveries and tastings of regional products, meetings with local producers;
  • Demonstrations of how to make "Bergamote de Nancy";
  • Games competitionsto win baskets of products and other gifts;
  • The Origin Trail, to discover the various official signs (promises, origins, controls..) ;
  • Gustatory experienceswith culinary demonstrations by chef Thierry Landragin (with the support of Interbev) ;
  • The presentation of food/wine pairings from our regions by BTS students at the Avize Viti Campus high school ;
  • A tastingwith the Syndicat général des vignerons de la Champagne, hosted by Franck WOLFERT, from 11:30am to 12:30pm.

The INAO stand will be showcasing numerous products with official quality and origin identification signs:

Programme national pour l'alimentation

Visitors will be able to learn about the actions of the Programme National pour l'Alimentation (PNA) implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty. They will be illustrated by the association "Les Bons Restes" from Reims, with animations around sustainable food.

This day is supported by the national food program, the Préfecture de la Région Grand Est and the Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne.
