Becoming a juror for the Concours Général Agricole requires training. A vast program of 46 training courses in tasting and sensory analysis is offered by the CGA. They enable volunteers at all levels and throughout the country to acquire or develop tasting skills, from initiation to perfection, to evaluate products. Wines from all French wine-growing regions, rums, whiskies, oysters, honeys and jams... There's something for every taste and passion.

Registrations are open to all informed epicureans. Most of the training courses have been developed in collaboration with INAO, and are directly paid for by the Competition and free of charge. Participants and future jurors undertake only to be present at the finals at the Salon International de l'Agriculture, from February 25 to March 5, 2023, in Paris.

Products under official signs of quality and origin at the heart of the Concours

More than 70% of the products entered in the Concours Général Agricole bear one of the official signs of quality and origin (SIQO). Every year, some 400 jurors benefit from the skills and know-how of INAO professionals as part of these training courses. The institute and the CGA have thus just renewed their partnership around the products of excellence of France's gastronomic heritage.
