Carole Ly appointed Director of INAO [ODG].

After being appointed deputy director in May, then interim director this summer, Ms. Carole Ly has just been confirmed director of the Institut national de l'origine et de la qualité (INAO), by an order of the Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty issued on January 12, 2023.

Ingenieur des ponts, des eaux et des forêts, Ms. Carole Ly has both a national and international background in a variety of agricultural subjects.

In France, she has held various positions in central administration, on the multifunctionality of agriculture, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) or agricultural development, as well as several international positions, in particular agricultural advisor in China. Ms. Carole Ly was head of the European and International Affairs mission at FranceAgriMer when she left to work in the cabinet of the previous Minister for Agriculture, Julien Denormandie, on industry economics topics.
