Help promote European food products in Mexico

The European Commission is organizing a mission to Mexico from November 16 to 19, 2026, led by the European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, Mr. Christophe Hansen. He will be accompanied by a delegation of 115 representatives from companies and professional organizations in the European Union’s agri-food sector. Please feel free to submit your application by June 30.

The goal of this mission is to foster exchanges and business opportunities between European and Mexican companies in the agri-food sector. It will also help promote European quality standards and explore the opportunities offered by the Mexican market.

Selected representatives will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the specific characteristics of the Mexican market, expand their professional networks, and participate in business meetings with local importers, distributors, and buyers.

This mission is part of an effort to strengthen trade relations and cooperation between the European Union and Mexico in the agri-food sector.

In particular, the European Commission aims to promote the following sectors:

  • beef, pork, and poultry;
  • cheese and dairy products;
  • wines, beers, and spirits;
  • olive oil;
  • fruits and vegetables;
  • processed agricultural products, including confectionery;
  • processed agricultural products, including confectionery;

Interested companies and organizations may submit their applications by June 30, 2026.
