New planting authorizations may be granted to winegrowers who have submitted an eligible application, up to a national growth limit of 8,135 ha, corresponding to 1% of the area planted with vines on July 31, 2020, and within the possible limit of a regional limitation applicable for the desired planting. Eligibility and priority criteria are identical to those applied in 2020.
