INAO at Lyon's Festival des Terroirs to promote PDO and PGI products
For the past 3 years, the Festival des Terroirs has welcomed nearly 15,000 curious and gourmet visitors to Lyon. On April 11, 12 and 13, 2025, a large market of producers and artisans was organized, with many interactive activities: culinary demonstrations, tastings, round tables... including one focused on PDO and PGI in which INAO participated.
The "Entre Alpilles, Crau et Camargue" association organized a special event to present the SIQO products of its territory. It wanted to associate itself with INAO to explain the values behind PDO and PGI. Christèle Mercier, INAO's Centre-Est territorial delegate, took part in a round-table discussion, alongside producers of the PDO "Taureau de Camargue" and "Huile d'olives de la vallée des Baux de Provence". The event showcased these products in an appetizing way, with a recipe prepared by chef Brandon Dehan (Oustau de Baumanière ***), which the audience was able to enjoy: Tartare de Taureau de Camargue AOP, Fleur de sel de Camargue IGP, Huile d'Olives de la vallée des Baux de Provence AOP and mayonnaise au Foin de Crau AOP.
