INAO mobilizes for the European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH)
The European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities (SEEPH) took place from November 18 to 22, 2024.
On this occasion, INAO and FranceAgriMer in partnership with Météo France and ODEADOM, organized several moments of exchange and awareness around disability and employment. Workshops and conferences were held to inform and raise awareness of this key issue.
At the same time, FranceAgriMer and INAO organized a number of events to raise awareness of disability and employment.

A policy in place since 2008.
Through its Mission Handicap, set up in 2008, INAO pursues an active policy to promote the integration and job retention of workers with disabilities, invalidity, long-term illness and/or health problems. This mission offers support and dedicated measures to improve and adapt the working conditions of the agents concerned.
Participation in MASAF workshops
Involved in the MASAF Disability Network, INAO's Mission Handicap was invited to take part in the Disability workshops organized on the premises of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry on November 19 morning. These exchanges provided an opportunity to share best practices and enrich initiatives already in place.
DuoDay, a day of experience sharing
On Thursday November 21, 2024, INAO took part in the DuoDay initiative by welcoming people with disabilities. They were paired with volunteer INAO professionals (at head office and in the provinces) to discover their profession for a day. This immersion in a professional environment is a real opportunity for everyone to overcome their prejudices and change their outlook on disability. But also to discover new talents, enriching the diversity of skills within our establishments and the Ministry in charge of Agriculture.
By fully committing itself to concrete actions such as SEEPH and DuoDay, INAO reaffirms, through its Mission Handicap, its commitment to a more inclusive working environment that respects diversity.
