During this high point, a number of in-store and media actions will be proposed to highlight the 5 official signs of trust: PDO, PGI, TSG, Label Rouge and Organic Farming. Discover the program!
Quality and origin are not easy to see...
The Quinzaine de la qualité et de l'origine is part of INAO's and professionals' aim to explain the 5 official signs of quality and origin identification (SIQO) to consumers, who are sometimes lost when faced with the profusion of information on product labels (the "label jungle"). It revolves around our rallying cry: there are signs that don't deceive!
In fact, Quality and Origin aren't always easy to see.... Fortunately, there's the AOP, l’IGP, the STG, the Label Rouge and the Organic Farming, which identify products that have been produced collectively and voluntarily by producers, with strict production conditions validated by the State, and whose quality is guaranteed by controls carried out by approved independent bodies. To treat yourself with your eyes closed, keep an eye out on the shelves for signs of trust.
SIQO in stores across France
Throughout the Fortnight, events featuring tastings of SIQO products will be organized in 400 supermarket and hypermarket outlets across France. A good way to raise consumer awareness and encourage them to trust OPA, IGP, STG, Label Rouge and to the Organic farming.
Gourmet recipes presented by eclectic ambassadors
A number of promotional videos will also be on offer, in partnership with a selection of passionate influencers. These campaign partners will take on SIQO products for gourmet, funny and inspiring videos :
- Jalysko: 3 original cocktails based on GI spirits
- Pazapah: colorful and comforting carrot cake, 100% SIQO
- Gastronogeek: recipe inspired by the One Piece manga phenomenon, adventure aligot, with SIQO products
- Whoogy's: festive recipe with SIQO products
- Mange Ris Aime : 100% SIQO products back on the market
- Cooking For My Baby : Sunday lunch for children, with SIQO products and an educational video to understand the 5 signs
- La Carte des Vins SVP: PDO wine tasting
- Pierre Reure: a recipe featuring Label Rouge
Multi-channel educational media
These actions will be complemented by original SIQO presentations published on three pure player media:
- Konbini: a carousel inspired by trading card games to promote SIQOs and their assets
- Demotivateur: a micro-trottoir to test SIQO awareness and explain their promises
- Brut: an educational film presenting SIQOs
Finally, a promotional video will be displayed in train stations, shopping malls and on social networks.
