INAO to take part in VinEquip trade show from April 1-3, 2025 in Mâcon
VinEquip is a trade show dedicated to players in the wine industry. It enables professionals to discover cutting-edge technologies adapted to today's vine and wine challenges, as well as to exchange ideas between experts in a convivial setting. The 4th edition, to be held in Mâcon from April 1 to 3, 2025, will focus on adapting to climate change.

INAO will be present at the event and will host a conference on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 9:15 to 10:15 am on the theme "Varieties of Interest for Adaptation Purposes (VIFA), Innovation Evaluation Device (DEI): AOC specifications open up to experimentation and sustainability for winegrowing sectors...".
Since 2018, several directives have been published by the INAO to enable winegrowing sectors under PDO to experiment with new production conditions (grape varieties, density, ...) while retaining the benefit of the appellation. This conference will present the schemes and explain to professionals the procedures to follow in order to benefit from them. Following this presentation, Christèle Mercier, INAO Centre-Est Territorial Delegate, and Ambroise Sarret, Territorial Engineer, will be on hand at the "varietal creation" stand to extend discussions and answer visitors' questions. Finally, INAO will also be a member of the Jury for the VinEquip 2025 Hackathon, which will focus on the theme of AI at the service of viticulture.
