What is your initial training?

Specializing in the promotion and development of local products, I studied agri-food sciences and human sciences.

Why did you choose INAO?

During my Master's degree, our courses and case studies regularly dealt with signs of quality and origin. It was there that I discovered the role of INAO and its importance in promoting the tradition and quality of our agricultural products. I wanted to work from the inside too.

INAO was the "royal road" after my Master

What are your main responsibilities as Technical and Regulatory Officer within the Label Rouge division?

I work with project leaders (farmers, processors...) and professional representatives who sit on INAO bodies. I draft and lead project teams, and analyze applications for new Label Rouge recognition or for changes to specifications and their technical and regulatory framework.

I then pass on these requests to the Ministry of Agriculture and present the dossiers to be voted on by the INAO's governing bodies.
My work requires occasional travel in the field.
I also work on cross-cutting subjects specific to the development of the sectors that concern me (fruits, vegetables and seafood products processed into Label Rouge

What are your sources of fulfillment in this job?

There are many. Among them, there's the culmination of applications, when products are approved and appear on supermarket shelves, often crowning several years' work.
And let's not forget the atmosphere among colleagues and the simplicity of exchanges, which contribute greatly to this.
