Video review of the INRAE / INAO SIQO seminar held on September 26, 2023
On the occasion of the renewal of the INRAE - INAO general partnership agreement, the two institutes organized a seminar on September 26, 2023 in Montreuil, bringing together researchers, institutions and professionals working on official signs of quality and origin (excluding Organic Agriculture).

The Observatoire Territorial des SIQO was born in February 2011 with the shared ambition between INRAE and the Institut national de l'origine et de la qualité (INAO) to create an information system that meets the needs of research as well as those of supporting the monitoring of public policy on origin and quality. The partnership between INRAE and INAO has been consolidated and made sustainable. The general partnership agreement, which has just been renewed, sets this arrangement down for the future, with a five-year commitment in terms of objectives and resources.
Other strong links exist between INRAE and INAO, whether directly in terms of the participation of INRAE scientists on various INAO committees, or indirectly via research work on official quality signs, in different disciplines and approaches.
The aim of this seminar was to bring together and make visible the INRAE community and academic partners (ESR) working on SIQOs. It is also to encourage meetings and exchanges on the major issues linked to signs of quality and origin in France with institutional partners (INAO, FranceAgriMer, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty) and professionals.
