key figures

With 144 products bearing AOC, AOP, IGP, and IG designations, 41 Label Rouge products, and 235,835 hectares farmed organically (9.8% of the total agricultural area under organic farming), the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region is fully committed to SIQO-certified production. The result of a partnership between the INAO (Center-East regional office), the DRAAF, the Regional Chamber of Agriculture, and BIO Bourgogne Franche-Comté, this document provides a comprehensive and accurate overview of the region’s agricultural sectors.

The INAO and Economic Monitoring of SIQO-Certified Products

The INAO collects and analyzes economic data on SIQO-certified products. The Institute disseminates this information through various resources: key figures, regional fact sheets, sector data, and more. These documents are compiled using data collected during the annual statistical survey of protection and management organizations (producer associations, professional federations for products bearing official labels) and in partnership with other public entities (FranceAgriMer, INRAE, AGRESTE, the Regional Directorates for Agriculture, Agri-Food, and Forestry, Agence Bio, the Regional Chambers of Agriculture, etc.).
