Nouvelle-Aquitaine Economic Memento

On the occasion of the Salon international de l'agriculture 2022, the economic observatory for official signs of quality and origin in Nouvelle-Aquitaine has unveiled its memento. 300 products under SIQO are produced in this dynamic territory.

Based on 2019 statistical data, this publication is the fruit of a partnership between INAO, the Chambre régionale d'agriculture Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the DRAAF Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the AANA.

A wide variety of products under SIQO

Due to its varied terroirs, New Aquitaine's agricultural and food production is characterized by its great diversity. There are many products under quality and origin labels, including PDO, PGI, LR, TSG and organic. They bear witness to the richness of the region's heritage, benefiting from demanding quality criteria and know-how handed down from generation to generation.
