Discover the key figures for PDO and PGI dairy products in 2021

With 51 PDOs and 10 PGIs, dairy products represent an important part of agri-food production under official signs of origin and quality. To give you a better grasp of the economics of this sector, INAO and the Conseil National des Appellations d'Origine Laitières (CNAOL) have compiled the key information for 2021 in a comprehensive and educational publication.

INAO and economic monitoring of SIQO

These documents are drawn up using data collected during the annual statistical survey of management bodies (producers' associations, professional federations of products under official signs) and in partnership with other public players (FranceAgriMer, INRAE, DRAAF, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Agence Bio, regional Chambers of Agriculture, AGRESTE...).
