This memento highlights the economic contribution of Geographical Indication (AOC, PDO, PGI or GI), Red Label and Organic Farming products to regional and national agriculture. It welcomes the recognition of new products in the region, notably the Spécialité Traditionnelle Garantie (STG) Berthoud and the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) Bois de Chartreuse.
The result of a partnership between the INAO, the Chambre Régionale and the DRAAF Auvergne Rhône Alpes, this memento deals with data concerning operators in the sectors and 2019 production data. This edition has been enriched with departmental data and comments by commodity chain compared with the previous edition published in 2019.
The Region is rich in 193 products under SIQO with a significant number of regional operators: the wines and brandies, meat and eggs, and dairy products commodities are well represented, but also the fruit and vegetables commodity chain and other products (olives, olive oils, cereals, prepared dishes, ornamental plants, aromatic plants, wood).
