56 products under SIQO in the region (excluding organic)

Hauts-de-France is rich in 56 products benefiting from a Label rouge, PDO, PGI, or TSG. 10 new products have been listed since the last edition of the document two years ago.

Nearly 2,044 farms are involved, representing 8.7% of regional farms. 6.2% of regional farms value all or part of their production as Organic Farming, i.e. 1,461 farms.

Overall sales for all sectors combined (excluding organic) are up 17% on 2019, to 328.1 million euros in 2021.

INAO and the economic monitoring of SIQO

INAO collects and analyzes economic data for products under SIQO. The Institute makes the most of this information through various media: key figures, regional mementos, industry data...

These documents are drawn up using data collected during the annual statistical survey of defense and management bodies (producers' associations, professional federations of products under official signs) and in partnership with other public players (FranceAgriMer, INRAE, AGRESTE, the Regional Directorates of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry, Agence Bio, regional Chambers of Agriculture, etc.).
