In light of this observation, an Agreste publication has just been released. It was produced as part of the Observatoire territorial des SIQO de Bourgogne Franche-Comté, which brings together the Chambre régionale d'agriculture, the DRAAF and the Centre-Est territorial delegation of the INAO. It reports on the characteristics of farms having declared at least one SIQO in the 2020 agricultural census. In 2020, 36% of farms will be selling part of their production under a SIQO, with this proportion increasing between 2010 and 2020, reflecting the greater resilience of SIQO-holding farms. The SIQO sector accounts for more than half of the region's agricultural employment. It is also clear that farmers involved in the SIQO process are younger.

INAO and SIQO economic monitoring
INAO collects and analyzes economic data on SIQO products. The Institute promotes this information through a variety of media: key figures, regional mementos, industry data...
These documents are drawn up using data collected during the annual statistical survey of defense and management bodies (producers' associations, professional federations of products under official signs) and in partnership with other public players (FranceAgriMer, INRAE, AGRESTE, the Regional Directorates of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry, Agence Bio, regional Chambers of Agriculture, etc.).
